The short version: We do not create user accounts, collect your name or email, or sell any data. We collect minimal technical information solely to keep the service running reliably.
Who we are
infoblade is an AI-powered financial news analysis platform. We aggregate publicly available news headlines and use artificial intelligence to identify potential market impacts. All content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.
Information we collect
1. IP addresses (automatic, temporary)
When you use our service, your IP address is temporarily stored for rate limiting purposes, to prevent abuse and ensure fair access for all users. This data is automatically deleted on a rolling basis and is never used to identify you personally or shared with third parties.
2. Usage analytics (anonymous)
We use Google Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate: which pages are visited, how often features are used, and general usage patterns. Google Analytics collects anonymized data including approximate location (country/city level), device type, and page interaction events. This data is never linked to any personal identity.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3. Watchlist (stored on your device only)
If you use the watchlist feature to save tickers, that data is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
4. AI analysis requests
When you request an analysis, the news topic and associated headlines are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the analysis. No personal information is included in these requests. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of this data: anthropic.com/privacy.
Information we do NOT collect
- Your name, email address, or any account credentials
- Financial account information or investment history
- Precise location data
- Payment information
- Any data from your contacts, camera, or microphone
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Anthropic — AI analysis engine. Privacy policy

- Supabase — Database infrastructure (stores predictions and rate limit records). Privacy policy
- Vercel — Hosting and serverless infrastructure. Privacy policy
- Yahoo Finance — Live stock price data. Privacy policy
- Polymarket — Prediction market odds data. Privacy policy
Data retention
Rate limiting records (IP-based) are automatically purged on a rolling 60-second window. AI-generated market predictions are stored indefinitely for accuracy tracking purposes. These records contain no personal information.
Children's privacy
infoblade is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your rights
Since we do not collect personal information tied to an identity, there is no personal profile to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about any data we may hold related to your IP address, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
